Everything required is included
The installer adds the POS Printer Emulator desktop application, local background service, TCP/IP listener, required runtime, firewall rule, and shortcuts. A clean uninstall option removes the application and related components later.
System requirements
- Fully updated Windows 11 Pro, 64-bit.
- Administrator permission for service, firewall, and printer setup.
- A POS application that can send RAW TCP/IP or print through a Windows queue.
- Local TCP port 9100 available for receipt capture.
What happens after installation
- Launch POS Printer Emulator and confirm the listener is running.
- Use the Test receipt button to verify the local renderer.
- Configure your POS for the computer’s IP address and TCP port 9100.
- Enter customer or company name and email when prompted for registration.
- Continue in Trial Mode or link this computer to your verified Customer Portal account to apply an eligible purchased license.
Trial included: receive up to five external POS print jobs per day, create unlimited built-in Test Receipts, and evaluate the live viewer with session-only activity and a visible TRIAL watermark. Paid tools remain locked. No payment is required.
Optional five-day promotional trial: an eligible verified customer and computer can claim one five-consecutive-day evaluation of Lite, Pro, and Enterprise capabilities. It is separate from standard Trial Mode, displays a live countdown, and cannot be restarted by reinstalling.
Four license levels: choose Trial, Lite at $24.99 with one listener, Pro with two total listeners, or Enterprise with up to 15 listeners and Enterprise diagnostic reports.
Maintenance and Support: paid licenses remain permanent. New paid purchases include 12 months of updates, account and device licensing assistance, and assisted support, followed by optional one-time annual renewals—not a software subscription.
Upgrade without reinstalling
Purchase through the Customer Portal, then select Link This Computer in Settings. Sign in to the verified account, approve the computer, and select an eligible license. The application applies the entitlement automatically; no separate paid installer is required. A paid license may be active on one computer at a time. Deactivate the previous computer in the Customer Portal before moving it. When Maintenance and Support expires, update downloads, assisted support, and licensing assistance for newer eligible versions pause, but the purchased application and existing features remain available.
