Annual Application Maintenance and Support

Keep permanent ownership of your POS Printer Emulator license while choosing whether to renew access to future updates and assisted technical support each year.

Current release: POS Printer Emulator v0.3.55 includes permanent Lite, Pro, and Enterprise licensing with optional annual Maintenance and Support.

Your software license is permanent

Lite, Pro, and Enterprise are one-time-purchase licenses—not software subscriptions. The application version you purchased and every feature already unlocked by that license remain available permanently, whether or not you renew maintenance.

What the first year includes

Every new paid license includes 12 months of Application Maintenance and Support from its purchase date:

  • Application updates and upgrades released during coverage.
  • Assisted technical support.
  • Access to Settings → Check for Updates and update downloads.
  • Applicable account and device licensing assistance.

Optional annual renewal prices

There is no automatic renewal and no PayPal subscription agreement. Each renewal is an optional one-time purchase.

What happens after maintenance expires

The purchased application does not stop working. Existing licensed features, local receipt history, printer profiles, Stored Logos, Printer State, capture tools, and the license’s listener allowance continue operating. Check for Updates, update downloads, and assisted technical support pause until maintenance is renewed. Assisted account or device recovery for a newer application version also requires active coverage.

Local troubleshooting information, health checks, activation diagnostics, and privacy-safe log export remain available even without active maintenance. Customers are not required to renew simply to diagnose activation or local application behavior.

Support response terms

Unless EPCOM Ltd. agrees to a different response time in a separately signed service-level agreement, an active-maintenance support request may take up to six calendar months after a sufficiently complete request is received to receive an initial substantive response.

A response may acknowledge the request, ask for more information, provide status or guidance, or explain that a matter is unsupported. It is not a promise to diagnose, correct, repair, modify, provide a workaround for, or resolve the issue. EPCOM Ltd. supports POS Printer Emulator, not third-party POS systems. POS-specific integration or programming, when offered, requires a separately approved paid scope.

How renewal dates are calculated

  • Renew before expiration and 12 months are added to the current maintenance end date.
  • Renew after expiration and the new 12-month period begins on the confirmed payment date.
  • A successful renewal immediately restores eligible update and assisted-support access, including the current eligible release and releases published during the renewed coverage period.

Coverage for existing paid customers

Paid licenses issued before the maintenance policy launched received grandfathered Application Maintenance and Support through July 19, 2027. This prevents existing customers from unexpectedly losing update or support access when the new policy began.
